Equinox x Aescape: an exclusive wellness partnership $20m in the making.

Opportunity:

The opportunity arose to lead the partner strategy and full visual design for this exclusive partner proposal.

With full creative and strategic control, I pitched how both brand’s can work together through their native platforms, campaigns, and booking flows to deliver the future of massage to Equinox members.

Solution:

I created EQX Restore: an exclusive wellness collaboration between Aescape and Equinox leading the future of recovery.

Results:

This proposal secured a $20m exclusive partnership, expanding the partnership to 60 robotic massage tables nationwide and cements AI-driven recovery as a core fitness and wellness amenity.

Dual booking integration into both Equinox+ and Aescape apps.

Exclusive redesign of Engage (Aescape’s massage table interface) to match Equinox’s brand identity.

Launching Aescape’s massage content library with a refreshed visual ecosystem.

Opportunity:

With Aescape offering fifteen different massages, the member app needed to expand to host a content library tab. With this move, a window opened to refresh the existing content imagery and establish curatorial practices for future massages.

Solution:

I developed a massage content curation protocol and image treatment system to align Aescape’s aesthetic approach with their internal research. In tandem with the product team, I also redesigned the content containers in the Aescape member app.

Results:

This overhaul completely changed the look and feel of Aescape’s digital product. This systems approach future-proofed Aescape’s content calendar and provided a significant visual facelift.

Content Library:

The implementation of the content library made it easier for users to view Aescape’s massage offerings–they can now compare massage types and enter the booking flow directly from a massage selection.

Curation Protocol:

Working with the Research Team, I developed a curation system that places massage content within their identified relief outcomes. What follows is a three step guidance process that directs the image culling process into tangible steps towards a cohesive image library.

Image Treatment:

I developed an image treatment approach to create distinction between the three massage content offerings by deploying color filters and subtle image treatments.
